In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, local fixed route and paratransit rides are only 25 cents each for the entire month of July! Mondays are still FREE every week. Normal fares apply for our Midway Airport service.

Midway

Road repair and construction season has begun. Unavoidable delays will occur on our Midway route due to lane closures, backed-up traffic, etc. Please allow plenty of time to get to the airport and consider taking an earlier bus to assure that you arrive at Midway in time to catch your flight.

Midway

Due to construction in our Bourbonnais Metro Centre parking lot, parking spaces for commuters using our Midway Airport service will be limited to the commuter lot only for the next few weeks. The normal overflow parking area will not be accessible. During this disruption, please consider parking at our Manteno Metro Centre and boarding the Midway Airport shuttle there. Thank you!

Route 11

Due to construction and lane blockages, we currently cannot serve the Bus Stop on the South side of Armour Rd. near CSL. We will resume service at this Bus Stop as soon as possible.

Safe Spot

When you need help and don’t know where to turn, there is SAFE SPOT!
Finding a location when you are in need is sometimes difficult, but River Valley Metro is there for you. Help is as close as the nearest bus stop.
What type of help can Safe Spot give me?
Safe spot is a place to turn when you don’t know where to get help.
It’s for anyone that is:

Lost
In danger
locked out of their home
being bullied
being physically or mentally abused
or any other number of situations when someone needs help

How can I get help with Safe Spot?
It is simple! Board any River Valley Metro bus free of charge and request help or a Safe Spot. The Metro Transit Officer or Customer Care Supervisor will be dispatched to the bus to get you the help that you need.
