In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, local fixed route and paratransit rides are only 25 cents each for the entire month of July! Mondays are still FREE every week. Normal fares apply for our Midway Airport service.

Midway

Road repair and construction season has begun. Unavoidable delays will occur on our Midway route due to lane closures, backed-up traffic, etc. Please allow plenty of time to get to the airport and consider taking an earlier bus to assure that you arrive at Midway in time to catch your flight.

Midway

Due to construction in our Bourbonnais Metro Centre parking lot, parking spaces for commuters using our Midway Airport service will be limited to the commuter lot only for the next few weeks. The normal overflow parking area will not be accessible. During this disruption, please consider parking at our Manteno Metro Centre and boarding the Midway Airport shuttle there. Thank you!

Route 11

Due to construction and lane blockages, we currently cannot serve the Bus Stop on the South side of Armour Rd. near CSL. We will resume service at this Bus Stop as soon as possible.

Office Space Available

River Valley Metro’s administrative offices are located in the Metro Centre, 1137 E. 5000 N. Rd. (St. George Rd.) in Bourbonnais. This modern office building is home for several local businesses, including AFLAC, River Valley Blueprints, Prizm Financial, and Proven Business Systems.

We are conveniently located just off of Rt. 50 with easy access to I-57 only minutes away in Bourbonnais or at Bourbonnais Parkway. Additionally, River Valley Metro’s commuter shuttle to Midway Airport originates from this location.

All building tenants share common area amenities, including a staffed reception area, formal board room, and a 72-seat conference room with an adjacent full kitchen. Employee parking, client parking, snow removal, and lawn maintenance are also included. Fiber for internet access and VoIP phones is available. And in the event of a power outage, our automatic generator brings the entire facility back up to full power in only 8 seconds!
