Route 1, Route 2, Route 3, Route 4, Route 5, Route 6, Route 7, Route 8, Route 9, Route 10, Route 11, Midway, All Fixed Routes

Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day are 3 of the 6 major holidays each year on which our buses run Sunday routes and schedules. This includes our regular fixed route service, Metro Plus ADA, and our Midway Airport Commuter Shuttle. We hope that you have a wonderful holiday season and can take advantage of our service to spend time with friends and family.

Route 3, Route 11

Road construction at the intersection of Armour Rd. and Route 50 frequently causes some of our Bus Stops in the area to be inaccessible. This is a day-to-day situation. If the Bus Stop that you would normally use in not accessible, please go to the nearest accessible Bus Stop.

Midway

Road repair and construction season continues. Unavoidable delays occur on our Midway route due to lane closures, backed-up traffic, etc. Please allow plenty of time to get to the airport and consider taking an earlier bus to assure that you arrive at Midway in time to catch your flight.

Midway

Due to construction in our Bourbonnais Metro Centre parking lot, parking spaces for commuters using our Midway Airport service will be limited to the commuter lot only for the next few weeks. The normal overflow parking area will not be accessible. During this disruption, please consider parking at our Manteno Metro Centre and boarding the Midway Airport shuttle there. Thank you!

Metro Plus Fares

COST

Metro Plus service costs $2.00 for a 1 way trip, with a reduced fare of $1.00 for trips between 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

Passengers must pay a fare when boarding the bus.

Tokens ($1/each; only available for purchase at Bourbonnais Metro Centre)
20 Punch Pass (does not expire)
All Inclusive Pass – $40 (good for a calendar month)
Electronic Fare Payments through Token Transit app. Monthly pass – $40.00 (good for 31 days once activated), All Day Pass – $4.00
